Job Description:
The A&P Mechanic with IA will be responsible for a variety of aircraft maintenance tasks, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all aircraft systems. Duties encompass work on piston engines, propellers, airframe flight control, landing gear, troubleshooting systems, sheet metal and composite repair. The Lead mechanic will report to the Manager of Aircraft Maintenance and will be expected to perform all maintenance tasks in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturers’ technical data. Maintaining hand and special tools in a safe and serviceable condition is another essential aspect of the job. The role also involves personal and company tool accountability, conducting serviceability checks on powered and non-powered support equipment, compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards, supervision, and task assignments. This position may also require operations of vehicles as authorized, as well as compliance with safety, environmental, security, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience
- Possession of both Airframe and Powerplant certificates with no violations
- Inspection Authorization (IA) required
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to pass a 10-year FBI background check
- Possession of a minimum tool list
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Minimum of five years’ experience on General Aviation aircraft
- Minimum of three years of supervisor experience
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
