Job Description:
A bakery in Mount Gambier is currently seeking a skilled Baker/ Kitchenhand. The employer is open to considering 2nd or 3rd-year apprentices for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and production of various bread rolls, buns, cakes, and pastry products.
- Adherence to opening and closing procedures.
- Operating machinery with confidence.
- Mixing, cutting, molding, and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Operating ovens.
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in baking or food preparation is desirable.
- Passion for creating high-quality products with strong consistency.
- Knowledge and commitment to food health and safety rules.
- Self-motivated, capable of multitasking, following instructions, and effective communication.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
The employer is open to both full-time and part-time applications, and working hours can be negotiated.
