The Vacancy
The Role: The company is expanding its Assembly Day Shift team and is looking for exceptional individuals to join.
As an Assembly Team Member, your primary role is to assemble the company’s dishes to create the familiar, well-loved products. This entails accurately weighing portions, adding and arranging dish components, replenishing dish trays, maintaining hygiene standards, keeping a tidy workspace, recording food preparation details, conducting quality checks, participating in shift handovers, and reporting equipment issues. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality and standards of Bigham’s products.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
What You’ll Need: The company values attention to detail, quality focus, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a positive attitude towards work, and the willingness to handle chilled and frozen products. This role requires physical activity and being on your feet for most of your shift.
Previous experience in a food handling environment as a production operative is beneficial but not essential, as the company provides food safety and quality training.
What You’ll Receive:
Bigham’s offers a competitive salary of £11.08 per hour, which increases to £11.63 per hour after a successful 3-month probation period.
