In this role, you’ll contribute to vital health-focused surveys conducted on behalf of Federal and global health agencies. Your task will involve conducting telephone interviews to gather data, helping to identify risks and monitor trends that enable the delivery of effective health policy interventions. This position is fully remote and requires a commitment of approximately 25 hours each week. Working hours may vary, and the ICF Recruiter will provide schedule options.

Job Description:

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering scripted multiple-choice questions over the telephone.
  • Accurately recording responses, often utilizing a computer-aided telephone interviewing (CATI) system. You’ll receive training on delivering the script and entering responses.
  • Engaging positively with members of the public during survey interviews.
  • Remaining neutral and unbiased regarding their responses.
  • Continuously building your skills through learning from colleagues and your Team Lead, who will support your progress and project goals. The goal is to develop highly trained and motivated team members to provide a dynamic and rewarding work experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must reside in one of the following states to perform this role: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Texas, Minnesota, New Mexico, & Kentucky.
  • Fluent in reading and writing in both English and Spanish.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Strongly preferred: At least 6 months of previous call center, customer service, or collections experience.
  • Previous experience in collecting and recording data from the public.

Professional Skills:

  • Active listening and communication skills, both written and oral. You must be able to enunciate clearly and coherently.
  • Ability to positively engage with members of the public and remain neutral and unbiased during phone interviews.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
  • Flexibility in your work schedule and the ability to work limited overtime as necessary.
  • A clear telephone speaking voice and the ability to read accurately from a script.
  • Basic computer skills, including keyboard skills and accurate data entry.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
  • Must meet standard performance metrics.

The final pay for this position is determined by various factors, including relevant work experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, education, certifications, and specific labor categories defined in the contract for the position. The pay range for this position is $23,947.00 – $40,710.00.
