As a Store Team Member (Cleaning and Trolley Collection), your role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers, along with creating a welcoming environment in Coles stores. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing a checklist of cleaning tasks spanning all store departments and areas.
- Utilizing a variety of equipment and products for tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and buffing floors within the store, as well as in team rooms, toilets, and offices.
- Cleaning and maintaining the shelving and equipment in the store, team rooms, and toilets by dusting and wiping.
- Collecting shopping trolleys from both inside the store and the store car park, regardless of the weather.
- Working indoors and outdoors, often independently.

- Physical fitness, as the role involves constant movement and lifting of weights up to 17 kilograms.
- Availability for shifts between the hours of 5 am to 11 pm, seven days a week.
- The means to commute to work outside of public transport operating hours.
While prior experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for this position. Coles provides full training in the use of chemicals, machinery, and safety equipment.
