Childhood First is a charitable organization with a distinguished history of providing integrated programs of care, education, and treatment for children and young people who have experienced complex emotional and psychological trauma. Their mission is to support children and young people with profound needs.
About Merrywood House:
Merrywood House is a registered Children’s Home and Therapeutic Community located in Norfolk. It caters to up to eight children and young people aged 10 to 17 who present severe emotional and behavioral issues, often resulting from attachment difficulties rooted in early life trauma.
Role Details:
- Salary: £8,151 per annum (Hourly rate £10.45)
- Hours: 15 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday (weekly hours are negotiable)
- Benefits: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), health benefits, life assurance, up to 6% pension contributions, and a recruitment referral scheme with an introduction bonus of £1,000 per referred colleague.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cleaning services at Merrywood House.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the young people in care.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a nurturing home environment.
Requirements:
- Reliability, consideration, tolerance, and a friendly disposition.
- Access to your own transport due to the location of the community.
