Meta is actively seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Data Lead to join the Global Sales Strategic Planning and Operations team focused on the EMEA Global Business Group Organization. This role involves collaborating with program managers and senior leadership, using data to support analytically driven and strategic operating decisions.
Sales Strategic Planning and Operations Lead Responsibilities:
- Conduct Analysis: Use internal and external data (operational, product, market, industry trends) to derive insights for informed business decisions.
- Reporting Requirements: Gather and prioritize reporting requirements from various stakeholders.
- Analytical Tools: Build prototypes of analytical tools to scale the procurement of insights.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal tools teams to scale prototype reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Communication: Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence supporting cross-functional partners and contributing to the smooth running of recurring business rhythms.
- Process Improvement: Focus on process improvement through automation and enhancements for core projects.
- BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with experience using data to provide business insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Advanced Excel/GSheet expertise and a solid understanding of SQL and Tableau.
- Experience extracting data from large/complex databases, developing data visualizations, and building scalable reporting tools.
- Ability to convey a story using data and make complex, technical data consumable for a less technical and/or senior-level audience.
- Stakeholder management experience, including managing multiple cross-functional partners simultaneously.
- Supplementary postgraduate qualifications in business analytics, data analytics, or data visualization.
- Experience in strategy planning and program/project management.
- Experience in the advertising sector or tech sector.
- Knowledge of R and Python.
