Role and Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will be devoted full-time to the development and enhancement of existing applications, as well as new development. The core responsibilities include:

  • Designing, programming/developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools, both existing and potentially new in the future.
  • Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and budget constraints.
  • Rectifying errors through appropriate changes and subsequent program re-checks to ensure the desired results.
  • Conducting testing of program and software applications to verify they will produce the desired results with correct instructions.
  • Organizing and maintaining documentation of application development and subsequent revisions to facilitate understanding by others.
  • Collaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new programming methods.

Qualifications:

  • Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies
  • Strong Java programming/development skills and some hands-on experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular
  • Experience with or knowledge of Spring and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA
  • Experience with or knowledge of RESTful services
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple stakeholders

Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies:

  • Proficient in Java programming/development with some hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with or knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, such as Angular.
  • Understanding of or experience with Spring and ORM libraries like Hibernate/JPA.
  • Knowledge of or experience with RESTful services.
  • Strong multitasking ability and effective communication to various stakeholders.

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies:

  • Experience with Ext JS (v3 and v4), Groovy (v2), Grails (v2), and Bootstrap (v3+).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Elasticsearch.

  • Cloud experience, particularly with AWS.
