Job Overview:
As a Lead Technical Consultant at Perficient, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for clients. You’ll work closely with solution architects and developers to transform creative designs into functional requirements and, subsequently, into technical design.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical planning and requirements gathering phases, including estimating, development, testing, project management, architecture, and delivery.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor, providing technical support and contributing to the continual improvement of services.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Adapt and collaborate with team members of various experience levels.
- Serve as a mentor for the technical team on advanced topics.
- Work with program and analytics staff to ensure data and reporting needs meet IT Security Standards.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation for supported applications.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience with IBM BAW/BPM (19.x, 18.5.x).
- 5+ years of programming experience in Java and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in using databases (Oracle/DB2 or MS SQL Server).
- Experience with Process Modelling and understanding of IBM Playback methodology.
- Hands-on experience with UCAs, Coach Views, Client-side, and server-side coaches.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in technical and non-technical terms.
- A bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable major.
