The Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Scholarships are funded by generous sponsors, including BNP Paribas, Chalhoub Group, RATP Foundation, L’Oréal, and Total. Value & Duration of Award:
- Bachelor’s Degree Programme:
- Tuition grants ranging from €3,900 to €14,210 per year for the three years of the undergraduate program.
- The scholarship is automatically renewed if the student chooses to continue their graduate studies at Sciences Po.
- Masters Level:
- Tuition grant of €13,100 per year for each year, covering part of the tuition fees for the two years of the Master’s degree program.
- The amount may be recalculated on a yearly basis in accordance with tuition fee increases.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be:
- First-time applicants
- From a non-European Union state
- Whose household does not file taxes within the European Union
- Admitted to the Undergraduate or Master’s program
Students who are not eligible include:
- Swiss and Norwegian applicants
- Candidates with dual citizenship, including an EU citizenship
- Candidates from Quebec for master’s degree
- Master’s level dual-degree candidates (with exceptions)
- Ph.D. program students
- Candidates for the 1-year Master’s programs
- Bachelor dual-degree candidates
- Exchange students
- Candidates applying via the French graduate admission procedure
How To Apply:
There are different application procedures for the 2024 Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Scholarships:
1. Applicants from Foreign Secondary Schools:
- Indicate your application to the Émile Boutmy scholarship in the “Financial information” section of your Sciences Po application.
- Be prepared to provide proof of income and documents explaining your family situation.
2. Master’s Level, First-Time Applicants:
- Indicate your application to the Émile Boutmy scholarship in the “Financial information” section of your Sciences Po application.
- Be prepared to provide proof of income and documents explaining your family situation if necessary.
- Attach language test results if applicable.
Required Documents:
To apply for the Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Scholarships, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents:
For Undergraduate Level:
- Proof of income
- Documents explaining family situation (e.g., income tax return for both parents, payslips, divorce certificate, unemployment benefits, documents related to alimony, child support or retirement pensions, death certificate…)
For Graduate Level:
- No additional documents must be attached initially, but proof of income may be requested if necessary.
